Soft Spot for Skylights….

Hey Friends! Did you enjoy your weekend?

Growing up my favorite element in my bedroom was my skylight.  It was unique and I loved how the morning light would filter through.  Ever since then, I have had a soft spot for skylights and feel like they are an architectural element that is often overlooked.  Of course they are a functional element that adds natural light to a potential dark space, but they can also be the perfect detail to an otherwise lack luster space creating an unforgettable environment.

Thinkin PINK….

Good Morning!
I hope you enjoyed your weekend 😉 It is Monday morning, Columbus day in fact, and yes I am at my desk enjoying my morning coffee (already on cup 2!) getting organized for a productive week!

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month, and as we head into the second week I thought I would gather some images with PINK in mind that are sophisticated, elegant, graceful and strong…. exactly like the women who fight this battle….

Picking out the Perfect Pink paint is challenging! If you aren’t painting a nursery, you don’t always want a bright saturated color and you don’t want to end up with Pepto Bismal on your walls! Here are 3 of my top PINK picks:

Benjamin Moore: Odessa Pink HC-59

Benjamin Moore: Brighton Rock Candy 1291

Sherwin Williams: Cultured Pearl SW6026

Enjoy your Day!
