Outdoor Showers

Good Morning… I hope you enjoyed your weekend!

Growing up we had an outdoor shower built off of our deck.  It was great to come back from the beach, rinse off all the saltiness, and shower outside.

I wanted to help you start your week with some inspiring images.  I am having a “I want to get away” day … but these images helped cheer me up a bit.  I think I found some great pictures to show some of the variety of materials you could use to create and outdoor oasis. Right now they all look fabulous to me!!

Friday Fave: Glass Bin Pull

Happy Friday!!
Very excited for the weekend – the weather is supposed to be amazing! It was another productive week for L Kae Interiors: worked on some wonderful projects, had a great time at the 30th Annual ASID Design Excellence awards (I will tell you about that in a bit!) and I even got some of my outdoor pots replanted!

So I am running a little late,  my Friday Fave was not delivered with your morning coffee, but I still managed to have it posted by the end of the day (maybe you can enjoy a glass of wine instead while you read, just a thought!)
So I recently found some cabinet hardware that I LOVE!! The best part is that I was actually able to use it for a client already – and installed it looks Stunning!

This Glass Bin Pull from Crown City Hardware is available in 4 colors: Black, White, Clear, and Green.  The clear is my favorite:  Super chic, simple, and sophisticated.

Here is a sneak peak of the pulls installed at my clients house.  I’m only showing you a snippet because everything isn’t complete and I don’t want to ruin the big reveal! I used the hardware on the drawers as well as the cabinet doors and installed them vertically (which turned out great rather than using a knob).

I promise that I will definitely be using this hardware again!

As I also mentioned above, last night was the Georgia chapters 30th Annual Design Excellence awards for ASID.

It was a wonderful evening and it was such an honor to be in the same room as so many brilliant designers.
I am happy to share that L Kae Interiors took home a bronze award for the Model house that was completed at Patrick Square (insert jumping up and down with excitement!).
This project was a joint venture between myself and Kerry Howard.  We worked very well together and I am so proud of both of us for all the hard work.  It also feels pretty great to be recognized by such a distinguished group of design talent.

I hope you have a fantastic weekend! Enjoy the lovely spring weather!
