Friday Fave: You Win Guide!

Hello Friday!! This week seems to have flown by, work was super busy (insert jumping up and down with happiness), but with that, I seemed to have neglected my little blog world… sorry! Well I come back to you this morning (yes, coffee in hand) with another fun Friday Fave!

As everyone knows, the home sale market (both new construction and resale) has seen brighter days.  Most markets seem to be flooded with homes, so if you are a seller, it may feel like a looming and daunting task.  I have found something that just may be the light at the end of the tunnel!!

Terry Haas of HGTV’s Designed to Sell, has created an E-book called “You Win Guide.”

The concept is simple, straight to the point and helps you easily prepare your house with a room by room guide.  I don’t have a house to sell, but downloaded the book to have as reference and I love it!! I think it is an amazing resource for any seller, potential seller, and agents.

Here are a few points from her site:

  • According to Homegain.com, sellers who spent $500 on staging recovered over 343% of the cost when they sold their home.
  • 82-85% of buyers are shopping on the Internet before they contact sellers or an agent.
  • According to a Maritz survey, 63% of buyers will pay more for homes in move-in condition.

Here’s the best part: It’s only $29!

It really is worth checking out! I also was inspired by Monday’s post to go pick myself up some flowers from the Farmers Market! I ended up with a few sprigs of ranunculus, lisianthus, and a white lily… Can’t wait until they all open up!

Enjoy your weekend! See ya Monday!!

Flower Power

Hope you all enjoyed your weekend! The first day of Spring truly felt like it – The Sun was shining, flip flops and tanks came out, absolutely a perfect day.  Today I woke up to Snow Flurries and I am not kidding!! Not quite sure what is going on with the weather!

I am excited for the future flowers and warmth that is about to be in our future, so I was inspired to find some interior images where I think the flowers steal the show!  There is just something refreshing about a beautiful flower arrangement, and my favorites are ones that just look like they came from the garden.  Not perfectly placed.  A huge bunch.  Maybe displayed in an old jar.   However they are arranged, I am ready for Spring to produce some beautiful flowers.  Bring on the sun!!
